The Danone Nations Cup is the world's largest international football tournament for children in the 10-12 age group. The World Final is the culmination of a year of competition in which the winners of national tournaments in 40 participating countries over five continents come together to compete for the Danone Nations Cup.

2009 has seen some exciting changes to the national tournament in this country. We are pleased to announce a brand-new partnership with the English Schools FA (ESFA).

The ESFA Under 12 Schools Cup will from the 2009/2010 season be known as the ESFA Danone Nations Cup. The winner of this competition will be asked to send a team to represent Team England at the annual Danone Nations Cup World Final which will take place in October 2010. Please note that to meet the international criteria for the Danone Nations Cup players in this team must be born born between 1 January 1998 and 31 December 1999

We are delighted to have the support of Everton and England star Phil Jagielka as our DNC UK Player Ambassador; visit the pressroom to hear what he has to say about the Danone Nations Cup and the opportunity it gives young players.

Keep an eye on our competition page for the opportunity to win some great prizes.

We thank you for your support of the Danone Nations Cup in the UK as it embarks on an exciting new phase in partnership with the English Schools FA.
