Welcome to the ESFA Danone Nations Cup website, the home of the biggest ‘World Cup for Kids’. The Danone Nations Cup is the largest global football tournament in the world for kids aged 10-12, involving 2.5 million children from 40 countries all over the world. The tournament aims to bring Danone´s health mission to life by encouraging kids to have an active lifestyle and follow in the footsteps of great sportsmen such as the tournament´s global sponsor: Zinedine Zidane.

In England, the competition is organised by the English Schools Football Association (ESFA) and Danone. The England football player, Peter Crouch, is the competition's official ambassador. In 2009-2010, 700 schools and 11,000 children participated in the ESFA Danone Nations Cup with the final having taken place at the world famous home of Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge Stadium on the 17th of May 2010. Playing on the same pitch as some of the best footballers in the world, the ESFA Danone Nations Cup was taken home by Whitgift School who will now be representing England in the Danone Nations Cup World Final. As pre-match entertainment to the ESFA Danone Nations Cup Final the kids also helped break the Guinness World Record for the largest robot dance!

The 2009 - 2010 Danone Nations Cup World Final will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from Thursday 30th September - Sunday 3rd October 2010. 40 teams from all over the world will compete in the final and a staggering 30,000 spectators, including 500 VIPs, are expected to attend this event.

Teams can now register to participate in the 2010 – 2011 competition which is set to be the most exciting edition to date with hundreds of schools already registered to play. To enter the ESFA Danone Nations Cup for Season 2010-2011 please login to your school's ESFA online account at www.esfa.co.uk/schools by no later than Friday 10 September 2010.
