Welcome to the Danone Nations Cup website. The Danone Nations Cup is the largest world cup for kids aged 10–12, involving 2.5 million children from 40 countries all over the world!

In England, Danone have partnered with the English Schools’ Football Association to run the Danone Nations Cup with children under the age of 12. The tournament aims to bring Danone’s health mission to life by encouraging kids to have an active lifestyle and follow in the footsteps of great sportsmen, such as the tournament’s global sponsor: Zinedine Zidane.

Every year around 700 secondary schools compete in the national tournament and the England Final is held at a prestigious Premier League football stadium. The winners then represent England at the Danone Nations Cup World Finals, which is an international football tournament involving children from 40 countries around the world!

In 2011, the England final took place at Craven Cottage – Fulham Football Clubs renowned arena. Whitgift School and Cardinal Heenan Sports College battled it out to be crowned U12 England champions. Although both teams played fantastically well, Cardinal Heenan Sports College won the England finals and went on to represent England in Madrid. The team did extremely well and ranked 5th in the world.

This year, the final will be held at Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club on Friday 18th May. Malet Lambert School will play against Forest Hill School for the chance to be crowned the winner and represent England in Poland in September and the next Danone Nations Cup World Final.
